The given maps illustrate the changes that Grange Park experienced from 1920 to the present day.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that the area witnessed significant redevelopment and modernization over the period. In particular, the principal change to the park was the construction of the amphitheatre, which replaced the original stage for musicians.

Looking at the map of the garden as it is now, it can be observed that the redevelopment of its western part was accompanied by the building of the amphitheatre in the place of the old stage. In addition, the central part of this area is currently occupied by a large rose garden, which was planted after demolition of the fountain’s. This newly planted garden is surrounded with seats for visitors, which used to be placed along the park’s walls. Beside this, the pond was relocated and modernized into a new water feature in the south-western corner, to give way to the playground for children.
